How the Vibe was Designed
We started Loopy Cases back in late 2012 with an idea to offer a smarter way of protecting your phone that allowed you to have a sleek, beautiful case at a reasonable price. Since then, we've cultivated many designs, from ultra slim cases, to the extra protective pro case released in 2014. For over two years we've focused on the key points that make the perfect case based on user reviews of Loopy Cases and non-Loopy cases.
With all of this hard work and attention to detail going in to making the perfect case, we're proud to announce our latest model:
The Loopy Vibe™
Why this case is so awesome
We spent countless hours looking through your reviews to find out what makes the perfect case for your on-the-go lifestyle. We kept everything you liked and fixed what you didn't. With all of this info, we were able to create all of these great features:
- Crack-free and durable composite - We wanted to make sure that we made a case that would last longer than your next phone upgrade. This is why we developed a case with a highly durable and rubberized frame to withstand even the toughest Loopy users.
- Full wrap around bumper - Many users mentioned that they felt their case was not protective enough since the Slim models covered the sides, but not the top and bottom. We fixed this by making this case with a full frame bumper to cover all edges of the phone.
- Front raised lip - This was one of the big ones! You didn't like not having that front screen protection when laying your phone face down, and neither did we. That's why we decided to give the Vibe it's full front lip to keep you protected at every angle possible. Also, we made sure that the front lip size was perfectly balanced to make it fully functional, yet not overly bulky or uncomfortable.
- Smooth, shiney finish - Having a dirty case is no fun. That's just one of the reasons why we offered this case with an all black, glossy finish. The finish is non-absorbent to make sure that your jeans, purse, or whatever does not rub off and discolor your case. We also gave it this sleek finish to make it even easier for in-and-out of pocket transitions.
- Easy to press buttons - This is a given. Nobody want's to do finger exercises just so they can have the strength to push the button on their phone through the case. The Vibe's buttons are as smooth as silk to push while still being adequately protective.
Why we called it the Vibe
Many people have asked us: what's with the name 'Vibe'? The answer is simple: we believe in individualization without spending an arm and a leg. With the Vibe, you don't have to buy a new case to keep your phone feeling fresh. You can simply change your vibe at any time by switching out the interchangeable loops to the color you want.
Going out to a business meeting and need something subtle? Throw on the Black loop.
Hitting a Bulls/Hawks game in the city (yeah, we're Chicago fans)? Throw on your Red and Black loop.
Feeling pink today? Well, I'm sure you get the idea ;)
We will also be offering new loops very soon to promote your ability to change your loop to whatever you're feeling today without having to buy an entire new case. Keep posted on this, you won't want to miss it.
So, what's next?
We intend to grow this design across all of the new models being released, as well as add more colors for each model. Up next, due to popular demand, is the iPhone 6 Plus. Stay tuned via our Loopy Newsletter to keep in the loop on it's release date!

Hold Your Phone with Your Left Hand?
Do you HOLD your phone with your left hand? If so, you'll want to request a LEFTY Loopy! It's no problem because we make them, too! :)
In short, the hand that grabs your phone (most of the time) is the orientation you want for your Loopy Case.
All Loopy Cases are righties by default. If you'd like a left-handed Loopy, please choose Lefty in the drop-down menu! Returning Lefty customers: We now use this new drop-down system and no longer use cart order notes for Lefty noting as of summer 2020! :)

Having trouble deciding? Simply answer this question: which hand do you hold your phone with MOST of the time? If the left hand, please request a LEFTY model via the instructions above. If the right hand, no note is needed since this is the default orientation for Loopy :)
Can I still use my phone with my right hand if I get a lefty model? Absolutely. Most of us here at Loopy HQ use our cases with both hands with EASE. Our loops are made to be comfortable and versatile for use with both of your hands. The loop angle is simply there to give you maximum comfort with your dominant hand, but does not hinder your ability to use it with the other.
