Shipping Delay | COVID-19 Updates

March 24, 2020

*Our customer service team is experiencing a surge in emails.  We are doing our best to zero out inquiries daily.  Please expect slight delays.  Thank you.*

Updated 6/29/2020

To our Loopy family,

We will be updating this page to keep transparent about our shipping estimates and more, so this is your best source to gauge our progress on your orders.

Will there be a delay with my order?

Yes, all orders will incur (up to) a 72 hour processing delay.  This delay is due to the strict safety protocol that we must follow to keep our team (and customers) safe and the anticipated high demand from our new Gardenia launch.

Our goal is to minimize that delay as much as possible.  We're doing absolutely everything we can to have your order to you ASAP! ☕⚡🎁

When can I expect my order?

We aim to ship your order within 72 hours from receiving it, after which it will be given to USPS or DHL for shipping.  Important: During this time, your label may print, but it does not mean it has shipped.  Please allow up to the full 72 hours for your order to leave Loopy HQ (additional time if your order has shipped on a weekend).  As mentioned above, we're doing everything that we can to speedily ship your order with minimal delays.

Please note that USPS and DHL have periodically been experiencing COVID-related delays that are different in every region due to this ever-changing pandemic.  This has caused delays with shipping and missed tracking scans. Even though your region may not be severely affected, a region your order has to pass through may have been.  Please allow them extra time to deliver your order.  Your tracking may not update at all if your package does not get scanned by USPS or DHL once it leaves Loopy HQ.  It hasn’t been uncommon for an order to magically show up at a door step after a package wasn’t scanned.  We understand that this is not ideal and we're doing the best we can to help USPS/DHL ship your order as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Lack of tracking updates and USPS/DHL delays are, unfortunately, entirely out of our hands and we have noticed almost everyone in our business community forums are having the same issues.  Best case scenario, once your order is accepted at USPS/DHL, it'll arrive in the 3-5 business days time with full tracking updates, but we expect at least some degree of deviation from normal expectations.  Thank you for being patient with us and our shipping providers during this time.

Can I cancel/change my order?

If your order has not yet printed, you can email us to cancel/change your order.  Your order may print right away, so please do not wait to message us if you need an order edit/cancelation.

Due to volume and our tight operations at this time, we cannot cancel/change orders after they are printed.  It sounds easy enough, but due to heavy demand and increased social distancing (not to mention USPS not scanning every order lately), it is extremely difficult to track down any orders that are already printed.  Thank you for understanding!  We have a warning pop up on our cart page to hopefully allow everyone to double-check for common mistakes.

My tracking isn't updating, please help!

We, unfortunately, can't help with this one.  We're seeing only minor delays with some orders and longer ones with others.  We have resent dozens of orders only to find that the original order is arriving as we send out a second Loopy Case.  Due to the tracking delays on USPS's end, we will not be reshipping orders unless they are 21 days outside of our original print.

One business in our entrepreneur forum said this was their response from USPS:

“Due to COVID and fewer commercial flights, USPS is using trucks and is incurring delays. Please let customers know that USPS is experiencing the effects of COVID. We have had to skip some scans.

From USPS' Website:  ALERT: DUE TO LIMITED TRANSPORTATION AVAILABILITY AS A RESULT OF NATIONWIDE COVID-19 IMPACTS, PACKAGE DELIVERY TIMES MAY BE EXTENDED.

Is Team Loopy staying safe at this time?

Yes!  Everyone is required to wear a mask, practice strict hygiene upon entering Loopy HQ, and stay home if they or anyone around them has experienced COVID-related symptoms.  We're also creating one-way walk zones, 6 foot distanced work zones, and more within Loopy's facility.  We learned a ton about safety in the workplace with a very small team during our operational slowdown, and we've ported these findings to a larger workforce once our stay-home orders were lifted.

We appreciate your patience at this time.  Back to work for us!!! ⚡📦☕

Stay Safe & Stay Loopy,

JT, Jim, and Joey

Hold Your Phone with Your Left Hand?

Do you HOLD your phone with your left hand?  If so, you'll want to request a LEFTY Loopy!  It's no problem because we make them, too! :)

In short, the hand that grabs your phone (most of the time) is the orientation you want for your Loopy Case.

All Loopy Cases are righties by default.  If you'd like a left-handed Loopy, simply type out 'LEFTY' in the notes section once adding your Loopy Case to your cart (the notes section is on the cart page).  If you are ordering multiple Loopy Cases, please note which models you'd like a LEFTY version of as well.

Additional Info:

Having trouble deciding?  Simply answer this question: which hand do you hold your phone with MOST of the time? If the left hand, please request a LEFTY model via the instructions above. If the right hand, no note is needed since this is the default orientation for Loopy :)

Can I still use my phone with my right hand if I get a lefty model?  Absolutely. Most of us here at Loopy HQ use our cases with both hands with EASE. Our loops are made to be comfortable and versatile for use with both of your hands. The loop angle is simply there to give you maximum comfort with your dominant hand, but does not hinder your ability to use it with the other.
